Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you offer "Virtual" consultations for residents in Ogden and the surrounding areas?

Yes. We are a virtual-first practice designed for the modern Northern Utah family. We use secure, encrypted video conferencing so you can discuss your case from the comfort of your home. If a physical meeting is required, we can arrange for a convenient, professional meeting space in the Ogden area.

2. How does the "Secure Client Portal" work?

Once you become a client, you will receive a login to our secure portal (powered by MyCase). This is your "one-stop shop" for your case. You can upload documents, view court dates, send secure messages directly to Kade, and pay invoices via credit card or e-check.

3. Why don't you list your physical office address on your website?

To keep our overhead low—and your legal fees reasonable—we operate as a virtual-first firm based in Ogden. By not maintaining a high-priced storefront in downtown Ogden, we can focus our resources on the technology and research tools that win cases.

4. What should I have ready for my initial consultation?

For Special Education cases, please have your child's most recent IEP or 504 Plan and any recent evaluation reports ready to upload. For Criminal Defense matters, having your "Information" or "Citation" and any upcoming court dates is helpful.
